beris Loose Ring Snaffle with Tongue Port Bar
The tongue port bar gives the horse‘s tongue enough room because of the flattened area on the port. Many horses respond to this with improved relaxation and increased chewing. And yet this bit is also well suited to horses that play with their tongues, trying to put the tongue over the bit, as the port effectively prevents this. With a height of 30 mm the port is legal under German equestrian sport regulations. Therefore this bit is perfect for horses that do not tolerate pressure on the tongue from conventionally shaped bits and react with head-tossing and the like. The loose ring means a greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The snaffle bit is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a “more mobile” bit in their mouth. The ring runs very evenly in the copper sockets and, due to the better durability, increases the working life of the bit considerably.
