The eggbutt bar is a universally applicable mouthpiece, it is lies very quietly in the horse”s mouth and the eggbutts on the sides effectively prevent the pinching of the lips.
Our plastic comfort bar is particularly slim in size. With a thickness of 15 mm, the thin comfort bar provides more comfort even in smaller horse mouths. This makes the mouthpiece an ideal bit for ponies or horses that have very little space in their mouth. The gently modelled transition from the mouthpiece to the bit rings makes it impossible to pinch the lips and also gives the bit a particularly stable lateral hold. The shape and the different ring sizes make the bit particularly recommended for for working with young horses. With a small ring (6cm), the rider”s hand acts faster and more directly due to the shorter effective pathway; with the larger ring (7.5 cm), the effect of the rider”s hand is softened. The eggbutt bit can also be optimally adapted to almost any type of horse thanks to the different degrees of hardness of the mouthpiece.

The new shape of the mouthpiece also ensures better acceptance and facilitates graduated communication between horse and rider. The beris mouthpieces are made of food-safe plastic with a finish and surface treatment that is unrivalled in plastic bits to date. Their surface is particularly smooth and they slide well in the mouth even with horses that do not salivate much. Practically all horses like the beris mouthpieces.
